Who is Studio SuperBruut?
Studio SuperBruut is a creative studio based in Schiedam, founded by Thijs Janssen, a graphic and visual designer with over 15 years of experience. With a background in graphic design, a strong eye for aesthetics, and a passion for motion graphics, Thijs focuses on creating bold visual identities, digital designs, and concept-driven work that stands out. Detail-driven by nature, he combines creative thinking with a hands-on approach. His style leans toward bold, clean visuals with precision and a sharp eye for detail. Outside of commissioned work, Thijs runs an ongoing photo project called World of Hoops. Through this project, he captures the cultural character of basketball courts around the world, using them as a visual lens to explore neighborhoods, cities, and local identity.full project here.

Ways of working / the process
It all starts with the discovery phase, which includes researching the topic and define what the needs and problems are. We are getting to the essence of what needs to be solved and done. After this is defined we start to ideate. We challenge assumptions and create ideas. From there we develop creative concepts, designs and prototypes. This is how your story comes to life. By looking at the essence we can make things pure, simple and clear.
